We just wanted to wish everyone a belated Happy Hanukkah, Merry Christmas, and Happy 2010!
We have been extremely busy this month. We got not one but TWO snowstorms...the second one dumping 18 inches on us! Unfortunately Libby was not a fan of snowstorm #1, and was even LESS a fan of snowstorm #2. Now that the roads and sidewalks are clear and the snow piles have been around for a little while, she seems less distressed by it, but she still feels the need to point it out to me every time she sees a pile of snow.
We had a wonderful Hanukkah with Eric's family and then headed down to Richmond to spend Christmas with my family. Libby obviously didn't know to be excited until all the loot started showing up, but she and I are BOTH relieved to have some new toys around the house.
Libby is growing up so fast and I can't stand it! She is talking so much now, learning multiple new words every day. She regularly puts 3-4 words together, knows the numbers 1, 2 and 3 (and she will randomly say "six" and "nine" when we try to count with her.) She is extremely bossy and opinionated and NEEDS her sleep (NO! not my child :-) She loves to "read" to her baby, dress her, diaper her, and put her to bed. She is learning lots of friends names and frequently says "_____ bye-bye?" days after we have visited with someone. Her memory is SCARY good!
We had a wonderful 2009 and are looking forward to what 2010 will bring!
